This travel ICU nursing assignment is designed for those with a passion for delivering high-acuity care and who thrive in dynamic environments. By joining a critical care team in Pacific, youll collaborate with experienced clinicians, engage with a variety of complex medical, cardiac, and neuro patients, and sharpen your skills on state-of-the-art EPIC EMR systems. Expand your clinical prowess, build new competencies such as titrating cardiac drips and respiratory interventions, and boost your resume with valuable leadership experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts (3x12-hour blocks)
- 36 hours weekly guaranteed
- Weekend hours as needed
- No call requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or Missouri temporary work permit
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience
- Current ACLS and BLS (or commitment to obtain within probation period)
- American Heart Association healthcare provider certification
- Comfortable floating to Med-Surg and Telemetry as needed
- Strong background in post-stroke care, cardiac drip titration, and ventilator management
- Self-motivated, team-oriented personality
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, high-quality care for critically ill patients
- Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Collaborate across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced medical technologies, respiratory therapies, and diligent documentation in EPIC
