With a schedule that provides three 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:30) per week, you'll have dedicated blocks of time to explore nearby parks, enjoy the thriving food scene, or plan trips to Kansas City's historical landmarksall while advancing your clinical practice.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts: 19:0007:30, three shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call hours
Qualifications:
- Valid KS RN or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certified
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/critical care experience
- Proficiency with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open hearts (required for nights)
- Comfortable drawing own labs; experience with PICC lines
- Supports codes and consults independently; no vascular access team
- Prior float experience to PCU/CCU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED preferred
Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive care to diverse patient populations in a high-acuity environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; flex RN ratios based on patient acuity
- Float to other inpatient units as needed
- Complete multiple, robust onboarding and orientation sessions
