Deliver exceptional critical care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in ICU or critical care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to critically ill patients, monitoring and responding to complex medical needs
- Administer medications and manage life-support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient responses, update records accurately, and communicate changes to healthcare team
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
- Uphold infection control and safety standards in accordance with facility protocols
