By joining this unit, youll expand your clinical resume with exposure to diverse patient populations, cutting-edge GE monitors and Drger ventilators, and daily responsibilities that strengthen your advanced skillsfrom ventilator and sedation management to medication titration and assisting with high-acuity procedures such as trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion.

Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend required
• Flexible rotation with full-time staff and fellow travelers

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Proven ICU experience with strong ventilator and sedation management skills
• Proficiency in medication titration and acute patient care
• Positive attitude and effective problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented mindset and adaptability

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and titrate medications and mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with unit techs and secretaries to ensure smooth workflow
• Employ excellent communication, documentation, and teaching skills using AIDET principles and Meditech
• Float in rotation as needed while maintaining patient-focused care standards
