Job Description

Requirements:

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU or critical care nursing
  • Proven proficiency in ventilator management, complex medication administration, and acute patient monitoring
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage care for critically ill patients with rapidly changing conditions
  • Administer IVs, medications, infusions, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
  • Perform frequent assessments, observe for subtle changes, and escalate concerns as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy
  • Document patient status, interventions, and progress accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • Support and educate patients families about care plans, procedures, and ongoing needs
  • Participate in shift report, rounds, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
