Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment
• Shift structure and length will align with facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with acute or life-threatening conditions
• Administer medications and complex therapies according to protocols and physician orders
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and rapidly changing patient statuses
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information, assessments, and interventions precisely and promptly
• Provide guidance and support to patients families during critical situations
• Uphold established infection control and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations
