An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with ICU expertise to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced intensive care setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing services in a prominent healthcare environment, working day shifts to support critical patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety.
- Participate in mandatory orientation assessments and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 18 months recent ICU nursing experience.
- At least 18 months permanent ICU experience in the specialty prior to assignment.
- Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration tests during orientation.
Schedule:
- Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM).
