This travel assignment in a busy ICU setting will allow you to work alongside skilled clinical teams, gaining insights into distinct workplace practices and leadership styles. Youll further develop your critical care skills by floating between ICU, ER, and Med Surg departments, strengthening your adaptability and patient care techniquesan invaluable addition to your professional repertoire.
Shift & Schedule:
- Nights, 6:30 p.m. 6:30 a.m.
- 13-week assignment
- Floating required (ER & Med Surg departments)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ER and Med Surg nursing experience required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Float as needed to ER and Med Surg units, maintaining exceptional patient care standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support patients families
- Independently manage advanced ICU equipment and protocols
