Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- 50/50 split between day and night shifts
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license
- 2+ years of recent acute care inpatient experience, or current ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certification (as applicable)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill individuals in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to plan and implement patient care
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions per hospital protocols
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Support patients and their families with empathy and clear information throughout their ICU stay
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing best practices
