As an ICU Registered Nurse on this travel assignment, youll collaborate with healthcare professionals from various backgrounds, enhancing your skills and gaining fresh perspectives on patient care, workplace practices, and collaborative leadership. With the chance to float between ICU, ER, and Med-Surg departments, youll strengthen your resume by expanding your clinical experience and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- 13-week assignment
- Floating to ER and Med-Surg as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- ER and Med-Surg nursing background (required)
- TNCC certification (preferred)
- Skilled in the management of ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical care to ICU patients, adapting to a dynamic night shift schedule
- Float seamlessly to ER and Medical-Surgical units based on care demands
- Closely monitor patients, administer complex medication regimens, and manage ventilatory support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure high-quality care across multiple departments
