Schedule:

  • Assignments are primarily education-focused and include non-productive hours for Float Pool nurses.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of one year recent ICU experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to adapt to various units and floating assignments.
  • Capable of mentoring and educating patients, families, and peers.
  • Commitment to vaccination requirements as set by the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established care standards.
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate duties as appropriate.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret pertinent patient health data; implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, safe, and humane patient care.
  • Offer health education to patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Uphold all organizational policies, including vaccination and E-Verify requirements.
  • Additional tasks as needed to support patient outcomes and team effectiveness.
