Step into a dynamic ICU environment within a well-supported, newly expanded intensive care unit designed for collaborative care. This opportunity provides a chance to deliver high-level nursing to a diverse adult patient population, including neuro-surgical, trauma, and cardiac critical care, utilizing modern equipment like Pyxis, GE bedside monitors, and continuous bedside monitoring.
Schedule:
- Contract assignment, 6:00 PM 6:00 AM shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with proven experience in any ICU setting (medical, surgical, neuro, or trauma)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- TNCC and two years ICU experience preferred
- Flexible, team-oriented approach and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Comfort adapting to varying patient acuity and unit needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, high-acuity care to critically ill adults; manage complex equipment including IV pumps and advanced cooling systems
- Collaborate closely with intensivists, critical care techs, and experienced nursing peers to deliver coordinated patient care
- Administer and monitor medications, interventions, and therapies per evidenced-based protocols
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Meditech EMR
- Respond to evolving patient status, participate actively in rapid response situations, and contribute to ICU best practices

- Recently expanded unit now accommodates 28 beds across two pods, including a 12-bed new addition
- Experienced, supportive ICU team and 24/7 intensivist coverage for continual guidance and collaboration
- Staffed to typically maintain low nurse-to-patient ratios to support safe, effective care delivery
