As you take on this travel opportunity in critical care nursing, you will deliver highly coordinated care to patients in the Float Poolexpanding your professional skill set through hands-on experience with innovative workplace protocols and multidisciplinary collaboration. This assignment allows you to broaden your resume and adaptability, working under various leadership styles and building meaningful mentorship networks. The Float Pool offers varied patient scenarios and responsibilities, supporting lasting professional growth.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible scheduling available
Qualifications:
- Current RN license, in good standing
- Recent ICU/critical care nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- COVID-19 and all required health-related vaccinations (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients following nursing standards and the nursing process
- Supervise assigned nursing staff and delegate care duties as appropriate
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate patient data to determine care needs and monitor progress
- Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans
- Educate patients, families, and other team members
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
- Ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in line with the organizations values
