Key Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Demonstrated experience in ICU required
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- Ability to delegate effectively and supervise diverse team members
- Commitment to safety protocols and vaccination requirements
- Adept at utilizing the nursing process in an acute care setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver care for assigned patients in accordance with ICU standards
- Analyze patient data, identify care issues, and develop comprehensive care plans
- Implement interventions, monitor patient progress, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Serve as a patient, family, and team educator, sharing health information and supporting learning
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care
- Appropriately delegate tasks while supervising healthcare team members
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and participate in ongoing training
