Job Description

A specialized opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses with Pediatric ICU expertise is available in Liverpool, NY. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality care in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center environment, serving pediatric patients during daytime shifts. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend and some holidays, ensuring consistent and compassionate care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active New York State RN registration
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) with ability to recertify
  • Minimum of 3 years recent PICU experience within the past 2 years at an acute care facility of comparable size and trauma level
  • Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers for travelers
  • EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • No history of professional license/certification suspension or investigation
  • No involvement as a defendant in any professional liability claims
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
