A critical care opportunity awaits skilled Registered Nurses with ICU experience in Lexington, SC. This role focuses on cardiovascular intensive care, providing specialized care to critically ill patients. The position offers a balanced schedule with three 12-hour day shifts weekly, fostering a strong work-life blend.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SC or multi-state/compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time traveler candidates welcome
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with CRRT, particularly Prismax systems, is preferred
- Ability to float within the scope of practice to similar units or sister facilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality cardiovascular intensive care with 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic charting system
- Respond promptly and effectively during low census by being available for on-call shifts as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital protocols during hurricane season, participating in emergency response teams if called
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required (12 shifts throughout the contract)
- Potential on-call shifts with facility approval
