Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Three shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
This travel nursing assignment offers a unique ICU/PCU hybrid experience, exposing you to a wide range of patient needs in a mixed critical care environment. Youll work with an expert team handling neuro, spine, cardiac, medical, and surgical casesbroadening your scope and preparing you for future leadership roles.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care nursing experience
- KS RN or Compact RN License required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, open heart procedures (essential for night shifts)
- Skilled in drawing labs, managing PICCs (no vascular access team)
- Confident in conducting own consults and codes
- Comfortable floating to related units, including Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse ICU/PCU population
- Perform advanced procedures and independently manage critical situations
- Float to other units as needed
- Participate in rapid-response situations and ongoing consults
- Complete comprehensive documentation and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
