This opportunity is ideal for experienced ICU Registered Nurses who excel in critical care environments and are proficient in handling complex patient needs. Located in League City, TX, this contract position offers the chance to apply your skills in a fast-paced, supportive unit on the 3rd floor of a main hospital facility serving an 18-bed critical care unit.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Manage ventilators and administer titratable medications under critical care protocols
• Employ critical care competencies including restraints management and the use of advanced equipment such as Artic Sun
• Collaborate with a dedicated team consisting of RNs, CNAs, and other support staff to maintain high standards of patient care
• Adhere to unit policies and professional standards aligned with HCA iCARE values
• Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR system
• Be prepared to float to the Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Participate in weekend shifts and on-call rotations when required

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with ICU experience mandatory
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven skills in medication titration and ventilator management
• Knowledge or experience with CRRT, Impella, or IABP is preferred but not required
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and under challenging situations
