Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position; schedule determined by facility needs

Qualifications:

  • Active FL or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume)
  • ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission)
  • Vent/trach experience required; knowledge of central lines and wound care preferred
  • Previous ICU experience and adaptability to float to lower acuity units if needed

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
  • Treat wounds, provide advanced life support, and respond to life-threatening emergencies using established protocols
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust ventilators, IABP, and other advanced equipment
  • Administer IV fluids and medications; perform suctioning as appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians and critical care team members to ensure the highest quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide education/support to families
  • Potentially care for pre- and post-operative patients, and participate in case management or administrative initiatives
