Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; schedule determined by facility needs
Qualifications:
- Active FL or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume)
- ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission)
- Vent/trach experience required; knowledge of central lines and wound care preferred
- Previous ICU experience and adaptability to float to lower acuity units if needed
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Treat wounds, provide advanced life support, and respond to life-threatening emergencies using established protocols
- Operate, monitor, and adjust ventilators, IABP, and other advanced equipment
- Administer IV fluids and medications; perform suctioning as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians and critical care team members to ensure the highest quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide education/support to families
- Potentially care for pre- and post-operative patients, and participate in case management or administrative initiatives
