Embark on a meaningful opportunity providing expert care in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit. This contract role empowers critical care nurses to deliver patient-centered interventions alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor vital signs, administer IV medications, and operate advanced life-support equipment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to develop effective care plans
• Provide clear, compassionate updates and education to patients and their families
• Document interventions, observations, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
• Respond quickly and efficiently to evolving patient conditions and emergencies

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position; scheduling details and shift options discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, and critical care monitoring equipment
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills
• Adaptable, reliable, and able to remain composed in fast-paced environments
