This contract provides a unique opportunity for registered nurses with intensive care unit experience to expand their skills by collaborating with seasoned healthcare professionals and rotating through various departments. Floating between the ICU, ER, and Medical-Surgical units gives you firsthand insight into different team dynamics, leadership approaches, and patient care modelsenhancing your expertise and adding impressive breadth to your resume. Schedule / Hours:
- Night shifts: 6:30pm 6:30am
- 13-week assignment
- Flexible floating to ICU, ER, and Med Surg departments
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with 2+ years ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Previous ER and Medical Surgical experience required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level critical care for ICU patients
- Float as needed to ER and Medical-Surgical units, adapting quickly to new units
- Respond rapidly to patient status changes and emergencies
- Maintain meticulous documentation and support patient hygiene needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, compassionate care
