This role is perfect for ICU RNs eager to broaden their expertise and sharpen their adaptability while collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals. By working across multiple departmentsincluding ICU, ER, and Med/Surgyou will engage with diverse leadership teams and approaches, ultimately expanding both your clinical skillset and professional network.
Schedule:
- Nights, 6:30 pm 6:30 am
- 13-week assignment
- Floating required (ER & Med/Surg)
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license with 2+ years of ICU experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications (current)
- Willingness and ability to float to ER and Med/Surg units
- Prior experience working in ER and Med/Surg settings
- Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene
- TNCC certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Confidently manage patient care when floating to ER and Med/Surg units
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans
- Respond rapidly to any changes in patient condition, ensuring the highest safety and care standards
