Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional RN-level care to critically ill patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and response to interventions, identifying changes that require urgent response
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions as ordered by the physician
• Utilize advanced monitoring systems and provide thorough, timely documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and implementation
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, post-hospital care, and treatment plans
