Provide advanced critical care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic ICU setting located in Kansas City, KS. This travel opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise in a high-acuity environment, delivering exceptional patient care while benefiting from a flexible, supportive work setting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to Medical Step-Down Unit (MSU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and family members regarding care and progress.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license accepted.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability and willingness to float to MSU and PCU units when required.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Schedule:
- 12-hour Day shifts.
- Weekend and holiday coverage required every other weekend.
