Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend, holiday, and floating shifts as needed (usually every other weekend)
- No on-call requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to patients in a Cardiac-Neuro ICU with a patient ratio of 1:2 or up to 2-3 based on acuity
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and maintain up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of critical care
- Float to other units as needed, adapting quickly and efficiently to changing environments
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency in EPIC charting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong adaptability and resilience in high-acuity situations
