Deliver specialized care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting, focusing on Cardiac Intensive Care patients during night shifts. This contract opportunity spans a reputable acute care hospital known for comprehensive patient services and advanced technology in downtown urban settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical nursing care to CICU patients, maintaining high standards of practice within a 1:1-2 patient ratio.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage and operate essential equipment, including CRRT (Prismax), ensuring patient safety.
• Support unit needs by floating within the scope to related units or sister facilities as required.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and documentation standards using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in emergency response activities, particularly during hurricane season (JuneNovember), if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a Multi-State/Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably CICU.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with CRRT (Prismax) strongly preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts (7p-7:30a), including every other weekend.
• Flexibility to be on call for low census situations as needed.
• First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply.
• Managerial approval required for block scheduling requests.
