Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0700
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Holiday commitment: one major and one minor
- On-call is census-based, with occasional pushback or cancellation
What Youll Gain: Expand your expertise by caring for a diverse populationincluding CTS and Neuro patientsin a setting where learning and adaptation are encouraged. Gain valuable experience floating between ICU and Stepdown/PCU, and add Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center exposure to your resume as you meet and exceed patient care benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license (MO or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Preferred: Trauma Center experience, TNCC certification, CTS & Neuro background
- Experience with Altera Sunrise EMR is a plus (very similar to Cerner)
- Not open to new graduates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Float to Stepdown/PCU as necessary
- Adhere to facility standards and protocols
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education
- Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary team members
