This contract opportunity calls for an experienced RN with strong ICU skills dedicated to providing top-tier patient care using sound clinical judgment and collaborative, patient-centered approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with flexible Float Pool assignments
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Demonstrated prior experience in ICU or critical care settings
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent assessment, planning, and patient care coordination skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Up-to-date vaccinations as required for healthcare employment (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care based on patient needs and established standards
- Collect and assess patient health data, analyzing and diagnosing care challenges
- Develop, implement, and adjust care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and providers
- Guide and supervise assigned nursing personnel, delegating duties appropriately
- Facilitate a safe and supportive environment, promoting healing and best outcomes
- Provide timely health education and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members
- Participate actively in discharge planning for seamless continuity of care
- Engage in ongoing education and compliance with facility policies and vaccination requirements
- Complete additional assignments as required by nursing leadership
