An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled RN with critical care experience to provide exceptional patient care in an intensive care setting. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated nurse committed to making a difference in patients' lives during challenging times.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an ICU environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to rapidly changing clinical situations and high-stress environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide support with advanced life-saving interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Perform and document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in patient records
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions
- Ensure patient safety and maintain strict adherence to established protocols and infection control measures
