Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment format, flexible scheduling based on department needs
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible for California practice
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt across multiple nursing units
- Evidence of required vaccination status (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ICU patients, adhering to evidence-based protocols and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct other nursing staff as needed, delegating and coordinating duties
- Assess and analyze patient health, formulate individualized care plans, and implement interventions aimed at achieving optimal outcomes
- Collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, engaging patients and their families throughout the care process
- Actively participate in patient education, discharge planning, and continuous unit improvement initiatives
