Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing patient conditions and prioritize effectively
- Experience with electronic medical records and advanced monitoring equipment
Schedule:
- Contract-based role; specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in an ICU setting, focusing on patients with acute, life-threatening illnesses or injuries
- Monitor vital signs, administer critical medications, and manage advanced equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies, performing lifesaving procedures and interventions when necessary
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support excellent patient outcomes
