Provide critical care nursing in a dynamic, acuity adaptable unit that combines aspects of ICU care with flexible patient needs. This contract opportunity is located in Franklin, WI, ideal for nurses with solid ICU experience looking to apply specialized skills in a versatile environment. The role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and collaboration within a skilled healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in an acuity adaptable unit.
- Utilize expertise in ICU nursing with knowledge of CRRT, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz catheter management.
- Demonstrate competency in Sheath Pull procedures.
- Navigate and document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records.
- Flexibly float between units or facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed, maintaining proficiency across settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including ICU nursing.
- Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is mandatory.
- Familiarity with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter management is a significant plus.
- Proven competency in Sheath Pull techniques.
- Proficient use of EPIC electronic health record system.
- Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability to an evolving care environment.
