Exciting opportunity for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic critical care setting. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, including three weekend shifts per schedule period, with additional on-call and floating responsibilities as needed. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with at least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in ICU or critical care
- Strong assessment skills covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural patient needs
- Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Competence in reviewing diagnostics and lab results and communicating concerns promptly
- Flexibility to float as a functional nurse when required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments as per policy
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop realistic, measurable patient care goals
- Provide discharge planning support aligned with patient needs and team input
- Manage communication with physicians regarding patient status and abnormal results
- Deliver holistic care considering age, culture, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational factors
