Deliver critical care as a full-time ICU Registered Nurse in a dynamic hospital setting located near Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 3 night shifts per week, each lasting 12 hours, with an additional requirement of 3 weekend shifts per schedule period. Flexibility includes floating as a functional nurse and being on-call as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; promptly report abnormal findings to physicians and healthcare team members.
• Develop and initiate individualized care plans grounded in patient assessments and medical orders, ensuring goals are realistic and measurable.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and culturally sensitive patient care.
• Complete ongoing reassessments and coordinate discharge planning efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience, preferably in ICU settings.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as required.
• Effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
