Job Description
Deliver advanced and compassionate care in a dynamic intensive care environment, working alongside clinical teams focused on the well-being of critically ill patients. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled RN with ICU experience seeking to make a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in an ICU setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; additional critical care certifications a plus
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs, manage complex equipment, and administer medications for critically ill patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Perform detailed documentation and participate in patient-care planning
- Respond quickly to emergencies, assisting in rapid response and code situations
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, procedures, and care plans as appropriate
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and ethical standards
