Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Recent experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with proficiency in management of patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, especially under pressure
- Ability to supervise and direct other nursing staff within the scope of established standards
- Proven ability to coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exemplary skills in documentation, patient safety practices, and infection control
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients based on individualized care plans and the nursing process
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, anticipating complications and intervening as needed
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff of various levels, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with physicians, ancillary staff, and patient families
- Ensure adherence to organizational practices, protocols, and quality standards
