Job Description

Deliver skilled and compassionate nursing care in a dynamic intensive care setting focused on complex medical patients facing life-threatening conditions. This contract opportunity is based in Delano, CA, within a dedicated unit that provides intensive, comprehensive monitoring and support for patients recovering from shock, trauma, and other critical illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff at various levels, ensuring optimal patient care delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in patient care decisions
  • Monitor and assess medical, non-surgical intensive care patients, responding promptly to changes in condition

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with ICU experience, preferably in medical intensive care environments
