Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Advanced knowledge of critical care protocols and equipment
- Proficient assessment, triage, and intervention skills in acute clinical situations
- Strong communication abilities for patient, family, and team interactions
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, incorporating best practices and clinical judgment
- Monitor, assess, and record patient symptoms, responses, and progress
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals, ensuring coordinated treatment plans
- Manage life-support equipment and perform advanced diagnostic procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding condition, recovery, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory and hospital standards
- Support a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous improvement within the ICU
