A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide critical care nursing during night shifts. This contract role calls for a dedicated professional skilled in Intensive Care Unit nursing, prepared to deliver excellent patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the Intensive Care Unit, providing appropriate interventions and support.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Utilize electronic medical records, including Cerner, for documentation and communication.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, employing ACLS protocols effectively.
- Maintain patient safety and uphold hospital standards and policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in ICU nursing.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Flexibility to work night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility address.
