Job Description
This opportunity involves caring for critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit, providing skilled nursing support and collaborative care. Your experience will ensure patients receive the comprehensive attention they need during their most challenging moments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Proficient in using electronic health records and ICU medical equipment
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive and responsive care to patients in an ICU setting
- Monitor, assess, and document changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications, IVs, and other interventions as ordered
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and supporting staff
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and expectations
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation to maintain compliance with regulations
Schedule:
- Contract position; flexible scheduling according to facility needs
