Job Description
Provide critical care in a dynamic 36-bed ICU specializing in Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical-Surgical patients. This role demands strong clinical skills, proficiency with EPIC charting, and the ability to deliver exceptional nursing care during 12-hour night shifts.
Location: Cicero, IL
Located near a major healthcare hub in Arlington Heights, this facility is easily accessible and offers a vibrant community atmosphere with a mix of urban amenities and suburban comfort, making it an excellent place for work-life balance.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts (6 p.m. 6 a.m.)
- Weekend, holiday, and floating shifts as needed
- On-call not required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Illinois RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications current
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with strong clinical competency
- Proficient in EPIC electronic charting system
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 2-3 depending on patient acuity
- Monitor and manage critically ill Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical-Surgical ICU patients
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
Additional Requirements:

- One professional reference completed within the last 12 months
- Verification of Illinois nursing license
