An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide critical care in a high-acuity trauma setting. This role requires delivering expert nursing care to patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center, working the night shift with a focus on trauma ICU cases. Ideal candidates will have recent acute care experience in an intensive care unit and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in an ICU setting
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical skills in trauma and critical care nursing
• Ability to float within the facility's units as required
• Must live within 75 miles of the location (local candidates preferred)
• Pending nursing licenses will not be considered

Location:

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill trauma patients in the ICU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient information using electronic charting systems (Cerner)
• Work the night shift schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Fulfill mandatory floating requirements within the facility as assigned
• Adhere to scheduling guidelines, including working every other weekend and restrictions on request time off around holidays

Schedule/Hours:

• Night Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends per month)
• Request Time Off: Up to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive; no RTO on weekends or adjacent to holidays
