Job Description
Deliver expert care and make a difference as a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care. This opportunity offers the chance to care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment supporting a dynamic medical team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Proficiency in advanced patient assessment and monitoring
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with complex medical conditions in the ICU
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, responding rapidly to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies according to protocol
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and their families during their ICU stay
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and safety standards throughout all care procedures
