Centralia, IL invites you to experience the charm of southern Illinois while advancing your ICU nursing skills in a region noted for its welcoming spirit and scenic Midwestern landscapes. During your 13-week travel assignment, you'll expand your nursing expertise, enhance your resume with intensive care and potential supervisory experience, and enjoy meaningful new surroundings during your downtime. Centralia offers easy access to local parks, historic sites, and vibrant diningall perfect for refueling after your shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week (No overtime until after 48 hours)
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- No typical on-call. Call-back expected within one hour if census requires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent, evidence-based care to critically ill patients within a licensed 7-bed ICU (2:1 patient ratio)
- Occasionally float to the Med-Surg or ER; orientation provided if floating to ER is needed
- May be asked to serve as House Supervisor, providing guidance and support to staff (orientation to supervisor responsibilities available)
- Maintain accurate records and perform tasks using EPIC charting
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience
- Experience with EPIC required
- Adaptable, resilient, and socialcandidates who manage change well are strongly preferred

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.59 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
