An urgent travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with ICU expertise in Burnsville, MN. This role requires a dedicated RN to provide critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes in the Intensive Care Unit.
Location:
Situated near the vibrant community of Burnsville, this hospital offers access to numerous parks, shopping centers, and dining options. The area combines suburban comfort with close proximity to Minneapolis, providing a balanced lifestyle with diverse cultural and recreational activities.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active MN RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be up-to-date upon application)
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units as needed
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts covering days and nights: 7:00 PM7:00 AM and 7:00 AM7:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday rotations as required
- No on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor vital signs, manage complex equipment, and administer medications accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards of care
