Job Description

An urgent travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with ICU expertise in Burnsville, MN. This role requires a dedicated RN to provide critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes in the Intensive Care Unit.

Location:
Situated near the vibrant community of Burnsville, this hospital offers access to numerous parks, shopping centers, and dining options. The area combines suburban comfort with close proximity to Minneapolis, providing a balanced lifestyle with diverse cultural and recreational activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active MN RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be up-to-date upon application)
  • Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units as needed

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts covering days and nights: 7:00 PM7:00 AM and 7:00 AM7:00 PM
  • Weekend and holiday rotations as required
  • No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
  • Monitor vital signs, manage complex equipment, and administer medications accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards of care

This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a respected healthcare facility while gaining valuable travel nursing experience. Timely availability is essential, with a requirement to start as soon as possible and able to return to origin within 7 days if needed.
