This contract position offers a robust schedule with a 36-hour work week, split evenly between day and night shifts, and includes every other weekend and holiday.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a focus on ICU or critical care nursing
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience
• At least 1 year of previous travel nursing experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments while maintaining high standards of patient care

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• 50/50 split between day and night shifts
• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Every other holiday (EOH)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding rapidly to changes
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Safeguard patient safety by adhering to best practices and protocols for critical care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and progress
• Support patient comfort and emotional well-being during high-acuity situations
