Youll work within an ICU setting renowned for its collaborative spirit and progressive approaches to care, offering exposure to a variety of acute cases and leadership styles. This is an ideal position for experienced ICU RNs looking to widen their clinical horizons while enhancing their resume with meaningful new experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract, with a start date of 5/4 or 5/18
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
The Role:
- Deliver direct and personalized patient care in a 7-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Occasional floating to Med-Surg or ER as needed (orientation provided for any float to ED)
- May serve as a resource or cover as House Supervisor, supported by leadership
- Perform essential duties such as crash cart and temperature checks, and manage supply and medication needs
Qualifications:
- Active IL state RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting required
- Exceptional adaptability and communication skills
- Navy blue scrubs required
