Schedule & Hours:
- 13-week travel contract
- Night shifts: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week; overtime applies after 48 hours
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (must be submitted with application)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or critical care experience
- Prior experience with EPIC charting
- Willingness to float to Med-Surg (rarely to ER)
- Strong adaptability, teamwork, and leadership as a resource (House Supervisor) if needed
- Professionalism in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert patient care in a 7-bed licensed ICU with a 2:1 ratio
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with leadership
- Perform necessary checks, including crash carts and temperature readings
- Provide support and guidance as a resource to unit staff
- Adapt to floating assignments as staffing needs arise
