This 13-week assignment features 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), with guaranteed 48 hours per weekoffering stability and flexibility to maximize your time off for exploration. Gaining experience in a smaller ICU, youll work with a close-knit team and may occasionally float to Med-Surg or the ER, supporting a range of patient cases that will broaden your critical care abilities. Leadership development is further encouraged with the possibility to serve as House Supervisor, ensuring you build confidence and autonomy in your practice.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment starting May 4
• Nights, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
• Guaranteed 48 hours weekly
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• No on-call; but must be able to arrive within one hour if called in due to low census

Desired Qualifications:

• Active IL RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum two years ICU/Critical Care experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
• Passion for delivering resilient, adaptable care and working well in dynamic settings
• Ready to wear navy blue scrubs and excel in a 7-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-patient ratio

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional ICU-level care and monitor critically ill patients
• Adapt to occasional floating assignments to Med-Surg or ER
• If needed, serve as a House Supervisor resource for the nursing team
• Maintain accurate records, manage medical emergencies, and participate in quality improvement activities
