An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with ICU expertise. This contract role offers a chance to utilize advanced critical care nursing skills, working alongside a dedicated team to deliver top-tier patient care in an intensive care setting.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive ICU nursing support, performing patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary staff. The RN will be responsible for responding promptly to changes in patient condition, ensuring accurate documentation, and advocating for patient safety and comfort at all times.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Advanced knowledge of critical care principles and interventions
- Proficiency in administering medications and utilizing ICU equipment
- Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to adapt swiftly in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Essential Duties:
- Deliver exceptional bedside care to critically ill patients
- Implement physician orders and critical care protocols
- Continuously monitor patients status and intervene as needed
- Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
