Key Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ICU nursing experience
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in acute care environments
- Proficient in using electronic health records and standard ICU technology
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong desire to contribute in a team-based, patient-centered unit
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care for ICU patients, utilizing advanced nursing practice and the latest evidence-based protocols
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status while swiftly responding to changes in condition
- Supervise, direct, and mentor other nursing personnel, ensuring cohesive and safe patient care
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to implement integrated treatment plans
- Employ sound clinical judgment in prioritizing tasks within a highly dynamic environment
- Educate patients and their families about conditions and post-ICU care requirements
- Uphold all standard safety and infection control policies throughout shift
